Wrapped with 100% contton string, each wand is considered a sacred herb used for centuries by Native Americans in the smudging ceremony. "Smudging" is the name given to the burning of these sacred herbs for the purpose of cleansing and sending out prayers.

Suggestions

Ignite one end of the wand over a fireproof dish , on a heat-tolerant surface. Once a flame is established, gently blow out the flame. The wand should be smoldering with no visible flame. Proceed with smudging. Extinguish in sand.
